Ron Wiener, CEO

A veteran technology industry entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience building companies in internet, software, electronics, manufacturing, aviation, and transportation industries. Ron has been the founder and CEO of eight investor-backed startups since 1988, with multiple successful exits. Previous ventures include EquaShip, Earth Class Mail, Market Mechanix, SnapNames,, Distribution Sciences Corp. and Azure Technology. He has been an avid treadmill desk user since 2009, and avid pilot since 1984. A hard-core serial entrepreneur, Ron starred in the 2008 television series “Startup Junkies,” and is Chief Mechanic at Venture Mechanics, LLC.

Andy Rosenbaum, COO / CTO

Andy brings over 20 years of experience in building highly scalable products for the enterprise and consumer markets. He has built and managed technology and product teams to deliver customer-focused products with scalable architectures in a diverse set of environments. Andy’s industry experience includes e-commerce, mobile, online shopping, social networks, sports & entertainment ticketing, personalization & targeting, financial services, CRM, and search. Andy formerly held senior engineering positions with Amazon, Yahoo, Intel, Veritix/Flash Seats, Spoke Software, and Inktomi.

Marat Saks, CFO

Marat brings over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance. He has spent 12 years in accounting, first as a CPA, and then investigating corporate fraud and anti-money laundering at KPMG and AlixPartners. Most recently, Marat has held senior management positions at Regal Vegan, Schnee’s, and Duckworth. Prior to joining Thermogenesis Group, Marat has focused on developing start-ups in the specialty food and apparel space. Marat earned a JD from Fordham University Law School and is an avid rock climber, hiker, and outdoorsman.

Cole Dalton, Chief Mechanical Design Advisor

Cole brings more than 30 years of diverse mechanical/design engineering experience including project management, product design/development, tool and fixture design/fabrication, prototyping, CAD, competitive benchmarking, testing and failure analysis. He has been an independent consultant since 1989, designing products for his clients ranging from treadmills and other exercise equipment to telecommunications and medical devices. Previously, he held engineering positions with Precor and Paccar. Cole earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Western Washington University (1981).

Chris Olson, VP Businesses Development

Chris brings 30 years of experience in business development and sales in the technology field.  Chris spent over 20 of those years working for the Hewlett-Packard Company. Her past accomplishments include developing business for numerous new products and services,  primarily calling on F500 companies in the manufacturing, financial services, retail, telecom and pharmaceutical industries.  Prior to joining Thermogenesis Group, Chris worked as a Mobile App Strategist for both BolderImage and Lextech Global Services. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and enjoys hiking, biking, and wine collecting. Chris has been an avid treadmill desker since 2011.


Chris Kwak
Mr. Kwak has been an equity research analyst for most of his career in finance, including stints at Credit Suisse First Boston, Bear Stearns, Viking Global Investors, and most recently, as a consultant at Tiger Global Management.  Mr. Kwak has invested in and written extensively about software, Internet infrastructure, and interactive gaming.  He received an AB in Philosophy from Harvard College.
Shawn Childs
Mr. Childs is a commercial real estate broker with CBRE, based in Seattle.  He specializes in corporate account representation, collaborating with his clients throughout the US.  Prior to joining CBRE, I acquired extensive corporate logistics, transportation, contract negotiation, sales, and marketing management experience while working for (1999 – 2007) and United Parcel Service (1988 – 1998).  While at Amazon, Shawn directed several teams in the developed multiple national logistics networks.
Brad Clark
Mr. Clark brings over 20 years of experience developing leaders and driving efficient operations, most heavily focused in fulfillment and logistics.  At Microsoft, Brad leads Logistics Operations (Americas) as well as leading Global Software Manufacturing.  Prior to this, Brad led Starbucks Global Transportation, held management roles with Lynden Transport and Amazon, and served as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Brad earned an MBA (with honors) from The University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
